Hi! My name is Lisa Honey. I have been creating art for about 20 years. Mostly self-taught, I mainly concentrate in soft pastels, watercolor and graphite drawings. In addition I am now offering my photography for purchase. At last, now is the time in my life I can devote more energy to my art.
As you can tell, nature is my passion...especially wolves. I believe that everything in nature is there for a purpose and it is up to us to help protect those who cannot speak for themselves. Since I visit Minnesota frequently, mainly Ely, MN, most of my wolf resources come from the International Wolf Center. I have photographed these wolves many times. Therefore, 10% of any painting/print where these wolves were the focus, will be donated to the IWC. Pleases visit them on the links page
I am also a Defenders of Wildlife member and while wolves are my first passion, my second is any endangered species. A donation of 10% from the sale of any endangered species artwork will be given to Defenders of Wildlife.
When not creating art, I am by profession an Registered Nurse specializing in cardiology. While demanding, it does allow me the time to be able to devote myself to both fields of study. Thank you for taking the time to visit my site!
